Step 3 -
Now its time to bulk out the text. Instead of adding layer styles we are going to do this a bit differently. As it’s a logo; and transferable to other documents; the less layer styles the better.

Right Click on your text layer > Rasterize Layer.

Hold Control and then click on the text layer again.

The go to the top of the screen and “Select > Modify > Expand” as shown here.
