You have now completed the basis for your futuristic door barrier!

Create a new layer, and using the circular marquee tool, make a selection in the centre of the page.

Using the gradient tool once again, make a dark gradient moving in a downwards motion, and a lighter one moving in an upwards motion.

All these gradients may get boring, but as you can see, they are they mainframe for creating the realistic effect.
