Step 7 - The Exclusion Finale
Create a new layer on this image and fill the crescent with black. Lower the fill in the layers panel to about 35%. Flatten everything and we should have our shield layer.







Right click the background layer and duplicate. Delete the background layer. Bring in your logo and place it beneath the shield layer. Select the shield layer and change the blending option to Exclusion and watch the black and white design pop out onto your new most excellent shield!
