Step 1 - Introduction
To work with Photoshop, you need to know your tools. Photoshop tools are used for various purposes, some of them for approximately the same purpose, and for that reason some might be grouped under the same button.

Just click on one and hold, or drag the mouse a little and you will see (look for a small black arrow in the bottom right corner of the button to see which tools are grouped).
